I'm not sure tbh I would have thought so. You will definitely get it at independent herbalists. If you are struggling to get it let me know and i will post you some, they sell it in my local town so its no trouble pm me your address if you want me to. As you say nothing to lose, it is supposed to be completely harmless no side effects interactions etc.
I would definitely use the pdsa option thats what its there for.

i have to thank everyone who gave advice. i gave snoopy all supplements yesterday late afternoon. i was not expecting him to take any of them willingly, haha, because the garlic ones smelt foul, and most of the other ones was HUGE!!!! but snoopy took them without any problems, i didnt even have to hide them in food or a treat. (i did give lots of fuss to him, and a couple of treats for being a good boy though) i got to admit i was not expecting to see any improvement for at least a few days after snoopy starting them.
i visited my dad this morning, and lo and behold, snoopy is chasing after a ball in my dads front garden!!! i was gobsmacked!!! he isnt 100% dont get me wrong, but before giving him the supplements, he struggled to get up, and walk about very well.
i thought i was imagining it, and if i hadnt witnessed it myself, i wouldnt believe it. im so shocked that they made such a difference so quick!!
thankyou everyone, you have gave my dads dog a new lease of life, hes wagging his tail again. its lovely to see. did anyone else who used the supplements get such a result in such a short space of time???

The Rhustox with Sami was pretty much instant and if she misses a couple of doses she can hardly walk again.
So glad its helping him, anything is always worth a try and if whatever it is its working then who cares how it works.

Brilliant news about Snoopy- hope he keeps going like this. your dad must be really pleased.
I've been giving Polka her supplements for about a week now and unfortunately I haven't seen any improvement. in fact things are looking quite bad. today i took her to the woods and when I let her off the lead she just stood there. It was so pitiful to see I started crying (just as well no one was about!) Then this evening she was coming into the kitchen from outside and her legs totally gave way when she tried to get up the small step. she was whining in pain and I had to physically lift her back to her feet. I'm taking her back to the vet's on Monday as she's obviously in pain
