Gyps is slowing up bless her
Its been a great day sun wise today so i did a bit of training with asiha and fynn, gyps not to happy watching through the window so I thought lets take her though the basics, well I knew hearing was going but really had to shout and wave my hands about to get her attention her speak was a rough woof her sight looking for the ball took a bit longer not so quick on her legs like she was last year stopping, to catch breath more often and now in a deep sleep on her bed by the radiator dont get me wrong she will still chase the neighbours cat and bark like hell if someone knocks the door but it makes you wonder where have all the years gone it sems like only yesterday I brought this liittle pup home xx

Poor Gyps, I am afraid it gets to us all, our Bearded Collie Jake, is very much like that, has arthritus, and the vet told us not too exercise him too hard, and to stay out of the cold, so he doesnt do as much as he did.
His eye sight is going too, he even barks at me because when I come home, all he sees is a shape so he barks just in case I am a baddy..lol
He plays with the other two [Sam and Kee] still likes a bit of tug o war, his teeth are still good, but he gets tired quickly.
His sister has already died, she lived just down the road, she was a working dog, so had a harder life, Jake was a rough and tough dog once, but now leads the soft life,..and well deserved it is too

Ahh bless gyps. Sounds like she is living the life of riley and enjoying her retirement!
I am dreading Dels birthday this year in May because it means he will be closer to 10 than 9, seems like only yesterday I brought him home from Battersea.
