That's in America, isn't it? They bring laws in for each area seperately, I think, but I guess they'll all be watching to see how it pans out.
Let's hope it doesn't catch on in the UK, we've got enough problems with BSL!

We've had Rotti's banned here in Ontario for a few years now due to some unfortunate incidents concerning the breed.
I f you didn't own one prior to the law, it is illegal now to own one. Sheps I haven't heard of any problems there yet, but sure hope not!

Here in Andalucia we have 9 breeds classified as dangerous- Pitbull, Staffordshire BT, American Staffirdshire BT, Rotweiler, Dogo Argentino, Fila Brasileiro, Tosa, Akita and Doberman. You must be 18 or over to walk these dogs in the street, they must be muzzled, on a lead no more than 1m long and you can't walk more than one dog at a time. Also you have to have a special insurance policy if you hve one of these dogs.

....and yet in England/Scotland/Wales German Shepherds are only the 17th most likley to bite,..thats quite good
