This is really interesting, however they havent accounted for dog&cat people. We have 2 cats, who we speak to as if they were our children, we love them to bits, although i wouldn't say we worshipped them - as we dont look at them as some kind of God, but as our little babies! However they are inside cats, they sleep on the bed and are always in the same room as us so im not sure if this would make a difference to the statistics? We are soon getting a dog too, i chose her when she was 3 days old, have got everything for her as a puppy and even started buying her adult things, i've spoilt her rotten, love her so much and havent even got her yet! We also have a lizard who has the run of the living room for an hour each night, i hold him and stroke him for ages each day and unfortunately we have gotten into the habit of hand feeding him!!! We also have a gold fish and i even speak to him every night whilst im in the kitchen cooking! I have grown up always having a cat and a GSD. Maybe i should have been a zoo keeper . Hmmm think i have gone off the point here, apologies!! x
