We togther got two wrong, but we have to admit that we guessed a couple,.. but what worries me more is that two of the ones we got wrong we feed regular, first the Turkey skins,.. we feed Raw Turkey legs, I think its ok, because they are clearly used to it.

The one that does worry me a bit is the Salmon,.. I feed all my dogs Salmon heads a few times a week,..I will have to look into this one,.. anyone got any advice

I only feed the raw Salmon heads, and then only after freezing them, so I think I am ok, the golden rule I think is to freeze everything before feeding,...same goes for any other raw food including the Turkey

The head and guts would actually carry the most toxins.

I should have come back to this thread weeks ago, because I did do the research that I was going to do.

In this country Salmon is alright to feed,.. [ any part ],.. there is a problem with feeding Salmon in certain places in the world [ i.e. America ] where the Salmon get a disease in the gut,.... in the far north bears and Wolves have learnt to only eat the heads of the fish, and not the body because of it.

Somewhere there is another thread where I put the details of this down, but I cant find it,..it will be one of the raw diet threads I am sure

....but the bottom line is that its ok to feed any part in this country probably because of strict health and safety on the fish farms,.. but if you are in certain other countries check,.. the guts can hold a problem for you

I only feed the head and the tails [ tails include a few inches of meat ] and there is not problem with that at all.
