omg I need to learn how to read properly I thought you said euthanized

If he is going under anesthetic then I can understand why your vet has suggested having it done at the same time however I personally would wait until he is around 18-19mths old JMHO

But as chrisly has said its perfectly fine to have it done now

advice

many thanks for the advice, ideally I would have liked to have waited till my 8 month old was a bit older before he is neurtered.

but i don't like the idea of him being put under anaesthetic too many times, i know its not good for them, so i can see the sensibility of getting as many things done as possible under 1 time, so i think i will get it done know

thanks again xxxx mrs tmbarlow.

I agree with what's been said, you shoudl wait until they have matured but I can understand why you would have it done as he is already being put under....xx

I had my boy done at a very young age on the advice of experts given to me - but this was 10 years ago. A subsequent vet has told me that it stopped Arch from being "broader in the shoulders" so to speak - whether this is true or not I don't know - but it seems that opinions have changed over the last 10 years.
