First season

Hi all,

I have an 8 month old GSD bitch who started her season 4 weeks ago yesterday. Initially she was dripping (various amounts per day) then Vulva dropped and it is now slowly diminishing in size. Dripping has virtually stopped but her vulva is still puffy and has not gone back in yet. I understood that the season should last for 3 weeks, ut appreciate there is no hard and fast rule, but I am getting a little concerned that things haven't settled back down to normal yet.

Was considering going to vets to be on the safe side. Vulva doesnt look inflammed or sore, but thought would have finished by now.

Anyone had similar experience? Any advice welcome.

My girl Lana was exactly the same , its nothing to worry about , some just take longer than others

OK thank you, spoke with the breeder this A.M and she advised to wait 1 more week.
