foods - again

Well we still havent found a food that is 100% suited to Sully and so the search is still ongoing. So yet again I am on the lookout. So am asking for suggestions that meat the following criteria:

No Dairy
No Wheat
Not too high protien as it doesnt take much to send him loopy

Am i right in thinking that wainwrights and jwb are the same food?

So far I have tried (unsuccessfully)

Barking Heads - total loopy juice
Burns - lost weight and sent him loopy
Other foods that have wheat which upset him
Skinners salmon and rice - doesnt suit his delecate tum 100%

maxandskye has a spectacular aura about
I swear by Taste of the Wild hun, I have put all of mine of it now, although it is high in protien. The thing is with protiens that there are different protiens that react in different ways if that makes sense ?

Jude is on a distinguished road
Davies Ranger was developed especially for sensitive GSDs. Wheat and dairy free and not too high in protein. I discovered it when I had my previous shepherd who had a gluten sensitivity and now feed all three of my dogs on it. At the moment they are having chicken and rice but they also have lamb and rice -definitely worth a try.

I found fish based foods better for Diesel, Orijen is fab and he's looking so good on it and he's finally 'textbook' if you know what I mean...lol

I have also heard very good things on Taste of the Wild and Fish4Dogs....xx

No hun not yet I am going to go to the pet shop next week and take a look and see what they have and for how much and than take it from there. i was hoping to be able to keep him on the skinners as all the chopping and changing is not good. I did wonder if I was over feeding so I have reduced his amount and been strict but it doesnt seem to have made any difference so its not that.

I am thinking of trying a grain free tho and have maybe potato as the carb rather than rice

Do try to cut out grain & cereals - they don't do a dog any good at all, and can cause allergies.

Have you tried raw feeding? Or perhaps a combination of raw & a fish based complete?
