Sky's Mum is on a distinguished road
Raw feeding for a 12month puppy

Hi

I would like very much to change Sky over to raw, but Im sooo confused

These questions have probably been asked a thousand and one times, but how much raw food do you give to a puppy (12months). Which is the best online food supplier ( I live in Beds). I have an abattoir not far from me who I will speak to as soon as I understand what kind of cuts I am after. How do I go about making up a menu for her, or is there one's already made up that I can use.

Any help and advice would be great.

A lot depends on what you're going to feed. A good supplier of raw frozen mince & raw meaty bones is Natural Instinct - High Quality Natural Dog Food, but there are others.

I feed lamb bones only (as mine are chicken-intolerant) and tripe. They get a section of lambs ribs & a neck each per day (normally lunchtime or late morning & then the tripe in the evening. I've always gone by how my dogs look rather than weighing food, so I can't help you there. All I'd say is watch your dog's weight & condition & if you think they're getting thinner, add more tripe or if they start to get a little soft less tripe.
