James Wellbeloved???

Hi, I'm new and would very much like some help on the following if possible please.
My boy Dax is nearly 3 and has been on Royal Canin GSD for around a year. It has definately helped with his bowels but not his itching, nibbling, ear infections etc. He's been through numerous tests and 0 results. We and the vet have come to the conclusion it could be the food. Recently we have changed our Labradors food to James Wellbeloved senior lite because of the problems she has with skin. Its too soon to be really sure but there seem's to be a slight improvement.
I spoke to a 'specialist' in the above 2 foods recently and she seems to think that Dax would benefit from the same food as our Lab (she is 7 yrs old). Just wondering if any of you have any experience in this as i'm curious to know if he would be ok on senior being a young large dog?

Any decent advice would be very much welcome.
Thank you.

Skinners Dog Food | Duck & Rice

Max used to love this stuff, hypoallergenic and free from any junk. Might be worth a look?, cheaper than JWB as well...

Maddie is currently on JWB, seems to be doing well on it, but we are thinking of changing to Vitalin after chatting to a local pet shop owner, who said it was of equal quality.

Hello + welcome

Mine have Eukanuba breed specific food, they also do different ones for digestion, skin etc. It's not cheap but they love it + it seems to suit them. Mine are 2 years dog + 10 months bitch.

Tnx to everyone

Just wanted to say tnx to you all for taking the time to reply.
Have to say its a completely confusing, I'm still no further forward with all the choice that's out there.
Guess I'll have to keep going with 'trial and error'.

Both Harvey and Smellbag are on James Wellbeloved. All dogs are different so think you are right in trying different foods.

Rich got bored and created the avatar. He's said you're welcome to copy it if you'd like to.

Ok I am on a roll being honest tonight lol, JWB is a grade 2 commerical dog food, which makes it no better than pedigree chum or bakers xx lol wagg has better ingrediants

Eukanuba is tested on animals and also produced by the same manufacturers as JWB which is owned by johnston & johnston
