Xmas Dinner

Well its Ambers first xmas and i want to treat them like us for one day.

Would it be ok to feed her an Xmas dinner.

Am thinking potatoes, swede, the good olde sprouts, parsnips, lots of turkey and turkey gravy.

Or should i stick to the normal food, royal canin, butchers tripe and mix it with gravy?

Not sure if some veggies are bad, she loves carrots

Veggies etc are ok but go straight through my 2

If it were me, I'd give normal dry food + mix veggies/gravy with that, to taste

Of course they have to have a Christmas dinner they're our bubbas

Caryll is a jewel in the rough
I have to be careful with Dempsey's stomach, so he'll be gettinng his usual ox heart, tripe & bones!

Try not to give anything too rich as you'll be asking for trouble!

Turkey will be okay, but don't give the cooked skin, I've heard it is not good for them. They can have veg, but it doesn't really digest for them. Ours do have leftover veg, mashed with gravy and some of their normal raw meat!

Cooked turkey skin is bad for dogs. No need for veg and spuds etc. It's a dog, not a human so why not just feed its normal food??

Billy Sitch has a spectacular aura about
We just give some of the cooked meat with their normal food much to my hubbys disgust as there is less for him. They get my portion as I don't eat it.

It's something that I've done for years but I don't give spuds and veggies as I mix it up for a sort of bubble and squeek for Boxing Day.

I don't think that the dogs know whats going on but it makes me feel better.

I agree, Max has always has a portion of Christmas dinner, he usually has one most Sunday's, dosent seem to have ever done him any harm and he loves it!

Although he would like to, i dont let him sit at the table though, he's way to messy! xx
