raw food suppliers do you use

Which suppliers do people use or do you just got the local butchers .
I ask as we are thinking of changing otto to raw as he is going off his dry food big time.

I use my village butcher and I've a guy who supplies me green tripe. Costs me under £10 per week to feed both my dogs.

There's mailorder sites; i only know of this one, never used it though...

I tried TPMS once and Ozzie refused a lot of his meals. I have now gone back to landywoods. Ozzie prefers there food for some reason. I can't get get much from my local butchers as they have contracts with people for removing unused meat, and they charge the earth for it otherwise!!! I do get ox heart from the local one and minced food from another at 50p per 500g bag! Unfortunately landywoods and TPMS are the only suppliers that deliver in our area!!

I fed raw for 15 years before returning back to complete, when I did I predominately bought from AMP direct at breeder rates (cheaper than shops sell it for) I also used my butcher for some and the local Halhal butcher where I could purchase a whole sheep stomach for 50p average weight 2.5 - 3lbs I used Landywoods a couple of times but my dogs didnt like theres it stank, when I first started I used Oldham animal feeds again at bulk purchase price they ceased trading.

Have a look at Prize choice web site, I use these and the food is good, not smelly and a fair price. They deliver all over and are reliable.

We've used Berriewoods, who are good for minces but not so great for chunks/bones.

We have just got an order from http://www.rawtogo.co.uk. We just unpacked it, the mince packs were a very good size, beef chunks were huge!! A few of bone choices; chicken wings + carcasses and Turkey wings and Necks...this works out ok for us as we get free marrowbones from the butcher, we also buy her lamb shanks. Only downside is that the delivery price was quite steep (£8 for me) but it was well packaged; 2 polystyrene boxes in a cardboard box.

Pretty good prices too ...comparable to landywoods. Not managed to order from Landywoods yet; thier delivery dates are always at the wrong time.

jesterjenn has a spectacular aura about
We had one order from Landywoods when we first moved onto raw and I'll NEVER have their stuff again. They made our order very wrong, charged us wrongly, and also the meat was off! It was horrendous and we ended up throwing a lot of it out!

Then we went to TPMS and have been with them ever since (over two years). Their produce is brill. If they ever weigh your whole tripe wrong, if you let them know, they will either knock the price off your next order of what was missing, or give you what was missing for free (rightly so).

I've not tried them, but DAF (Durham Animal Feeds) are meant to be really good (they don't deliver to our area as far as I'm aware which is why I've not used them).
