How much to feed ?

Tegan is now 20 weeks old and still has three meals per day.

She is on Purina Pro Plan for Large Athletic Dogs.

At the mo we give her approximately 550-600grms per day but she is always looking for more.

We mix it on the odd occasion with either raw egg, sardines or tuna.

We are led to believe she is big for her age and set to get even bigger - Digbyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy

ps yesterday the OH gave her some beef from the sunday dinner ! Never again - Farts ! The smell was horrendous - she's no lady

Matrix/Logan has a spectacular aura about
I always tend to up mine a bit if they seem hungry and then just monitor their weight, if they put on too much i lower the amount if they look too skinny i up the amount. I never go by the packet suggested amounts as they don't seem to take into account that amount of excercise and activity levels of the pups through the day. X X

Based on the expected adult weight - at 4-5 months the guidelines state between 290 - 535 so she is at the top end of that.

I saw a two year old GSD the other day who was small in the scheme of things but Tegan was the same size if not bigger

She isn't over weight at all just BIG
