Landywoods - FUMING!!!

GRRRRR!

So my last Landywoods order, I called the day before delivery to ask for an ETA. They told me it would be the afternoon, so I went out early with Vin and left Em in bed as she had said she would be up for the delivery.
It turned up at just gone 9, luckily I was able to race back, the guy just left it on my doorstep!!!!

My next order is due on the 27/28 of July... I got a call at 8.20 today to say it is on my doorstep, no one will be home til 5.30!!!
I am fuming, what are the delivery arrangements with TPMS?

Luckily, I have a wonderful Nan who just picked up my key to go home and sort it for me.

Anyone have this happen?

They have always been really good with me! Mind you, they only deliver out here once a month!

I would never use Landy woods
But I can recommend AMP
Anglian meat products(I use these, although I am trade)
I put my order in Tuesdays and get delived Thursdays
They have never let me down, and I can ring the driver to get an idea of edt on the morning at 0830.

I personally wouldn't touch Landywoods with a barge pole! They're stuff has been off when it's come here, so I use TPMS.

I usually collect is as there is a gorgeous park opposite which the dogs love, but their deliveries are good (got it delivered when I was up the duff as easier). I don't think there is much flexibility on days to be delivered, I think that depends on your area, but you can ring up on the morning to find out what time(ish) they are due, and they are usually pretty good with keeping time.

I couldn't recommend TPMS enough! They are brill, and have been using them for over 2 years now

not a fan of landywoods used to use them and when they eventually arrived in Scotland the stuff was off and sooo slimmy., not to mention the times they cancelled delivery on us and it would have been 6 weeks till our next delivery!!! I now use my local slaughter house as they supply to the Zoos and the stuff is great, they don't deliver but are open from 8am till 6 6 days a week and open on a Sunday too as they must be available 7 days a week and keep the palce spotless. Now I never get food thats turned and I get great huge bags of tripe, liver and minced meat for very little.

@ nisbreagha Do you mind if I ask where the slaughterhouse you talk about is ? I am in Wishaw and my local slaughterhouse will not sell to public. At the moment I go to Grayshill Knackery for meat/tripe and its great but would like to source liver ect.
