started my dog on raw wed,feeding mostly chicken,wings,legs etc,tonight she has trip with a few wings,problem is she has hardly done poos,when she has been,it was only a small amount,yellow in colour,and very runny,do they go through some sort of detox,before she was only feed on jwb ceral free kibble.although she hasnt done alot of poos, l didnt mind,because on the kibble she was going about 3 times a day,and quite a lot,in one end straight out the other,grateful for your opinion

Kira had a week of runny disgusting poops when i changed her to raw, Polka and Loba were absolutely fine. I changed all dogs straight over to raw ( no gradual change) and started with chicken thighs first before adding in other meats. Kira and Loba poop twice a day and much less quantity than kibble poops and don't smell half as bad! Good luck!

Commecial food is full of `filler`, stuff that dogs dont normaly eat like wheat etc,.. and so all this stuff that dogs dont normally eat is churned out at the rear.

When you feed a raw diet, everything that is fed is digested with little waste, and therefore there is not a lot to be got rid of,..so dogs dont poo anywhere near as often

I think that most dogs need a settleing in period,..I know mine did when I first started feeding raw,...so I think that loose poos are ok for a time.

Colour will vary, a browny yellow, is a sort of mid colour,... if you were to feed a raw diet with a lot of blood with little else you would get black,..if you were to feed a lot of bone with little else, you would get white

The yellowy colour in your case is because your dogs diet is mostly chicken,... as you add other red meats so the colour will change.
