Caryll is a jewel in the rough
The things we do for our dogs!

It looks disgusting (me being vegetarian) but very similar to Dempsey's food! They seem to like it, anyway!

Yep looks familiar! I'm not veggie (eat some fish) but not squeamish dealing with body parts.

I use it as an anatomy lesson - when I gave my dogs some lamb necks you could see the spinal cord & their meninges quite clearly through the vertebrae, fascinating.

My village butcher, Linda. He is great. The lamb necks he either slices down the middle so the dogs have 1/2 each, or he'll slice them cross-sectionally so I can feed with other things. They've sold 'pet food' (offal, lung mix) for years as gamekeepers feed it to their dogs. 30p a bag too

I'll often collect my dogs' food out the back of the shop if I'm in the car - and that's a sight - bits of meat, fat, carcass on the floor, bins full of bones etc. Sometimes I'll walk and get it - I take a big rucsack and that's my weight training workout, walking back with 15 kg of body parts in it.. He says I 'don't do bad' for a veggie!
