Hi Guys, Help needed! I make liver cake and have went through blenders, mixers. They keep blowing up , breaking down. What hard wearing machine do you use?
Seriously thinking I need a cement mixer! lol

Hate cleaning it though.
I dont eat liver myself, but I do love little miss stroppy knickers.(jazmin)

What I would suggest is you pulse rather than blend for the 1st minute or so... That's what I do
I blew up my liquidizer today doing just that.
I think it was because I was impatient and I added the flour too quickly and not enough water. It turned into pink glue and the motor burnt out on the liquidizer.
So been out and bought a food processor today, Kenwood on special off down from £69 to £39.
I will road test it on liver cake in a few weeks when the current batch runs out. Hope it is man enough or my OH will be peed off as he paid for it. x

Gill, I don't add the flour to the liquidiser... I blitz the liver, garlic and eggs in it. Then transfer to a bowl to add flour.
Kenwood food processors are amazing - my mum has one from the 70s and it's still working fine!
