kong stuffings

im getting bruja and merlin a couple of extreme kongs,to keep them busy.just wandering what people put in theres.im looking for different ideas so they dont get bored.and i have heard people freeze it also,is it just so it lasts longer.

Kong actually make their own stuffing now, I don't know what they are like though...(sorry that's not very helpful) we used to stuff it with marmite and biscuits, salmon, chicken and rice and yes you can freeze it so they last longer xxx

I fill my two's kongs with mince and then freeze.

I sometimes put some treats in then plug the hole with either cream cheese or smooth peanut butter then freeze.

More often though, I put frozen banana in it

All fillings frozen:
  • Minced green tripe mixed with a little goat's yoghurt or raw beaten egg to bind.
  • Mashed sardines mixed with dried meat.
  • Slices of chicken / turkey roll & gravy bones wedged in, topped with peanut butter.

Those are few of their favourite things *does a Julie Andrews twirl*

I am going to try the last recipe with the monster as hes not really bothered with his Kong
