I've never frozen them first on purpose. I only freeze them to store in bulk.

Jake gets 2 a day...in the afternoon after our "big" walk of the day. So sometimes they are just straight off the cold shelf in Tesco Have never had any problems.

Same here I only freeze what I'm not going to use in the next few days and have never had any problems. Saying that i think a lot of people on here always freeze the meat first and then defrost it. You should do whatever you feel happier about.

No need to freeze any meat as freezing just puts any nasties in a dormant state, and doesn't kill them, so they "come alive" once defrosted again

I have fed chicken wings from frozen and the dogs have been fine with them They're great ice lols in hot weather.

I always freeze raw meat for a week before I give it my dogs. I can't remember where I read that it was a good idea to do so but I do remember this:

Our Dogs Newspaper - News, breeders, showdogs, dog breeds, pedigree show dogs, canine clubs, web design, website uk

so even if you don't want to freeze all meat, at least freeze the beef.

That's an interesting article... One particular point is weird though... It states "I’m told that Neospora cannot use humans as a host because, if ingested the stomach acid is strong enough to kill the spores." - Dogs stomach acid is MUCH stronger than human stomach acid!
