Harvey needs to lose some weight

The vet said to put him on portion control
Any other suggestions would be great

He gets a few treats at night and he is fed twice a day on kibble with half a tin of pedigree wet food

start off by reducing amount of wet food on day 1 then reduce the amount of kibble
do you weigh the food? if not dish out how much you would normally then weigh it so you can then start to reduce
