I 'ave always fed my dog and cats raw food alongside conventional.
Personally I think it's better 4 them, good 4 their teeth and digestion. I always add raw garlic regularly to keep them free of worms etc.

How do you cope with the blood? thats what puts me off feeding raw. It makes me feel sick thinking about it, I can not eat meat if there's blood showing.

Blood doesnt bother me, i love it! steak has got to be rare when eating, so the blood juices just run all over the plate. Great! love it.

Rocky loved it too

if you are wanting to feed raw minus all the work then look at the pet food stores, some are now starting to carry commercial raw food, premixed so no guesswork on what to combine with what to feed a blanced diet.

Yay jennyc! At last, a like minded spirit! I Iove blue steak but all my friends say I'm weird. My poor doggy doesn't often get much though, 'cos I've already eaten it.

Is raw feeding proven to be better for them , because of circustances with my breeder, I have had to keep my dog on James Wellbeloved as recommended by her, I would love to change to Arden Grange or Hills which is better for my dogs condition as it has supplements in the food.
