a little confused by the measures

When we got Heidi she was on eukanuba for small puppie, luckily after a little reading i found this to be the wrong feed for a GSD. However the meaures as per the manufacturer used to give you the required weight of feed depending on the weight/age of pup at time.

We have now changed her to canin GSD puppy vetinary formula which she absolutely devours. my only worrie is that im feeding her enough. the guide on the pack tells u an amount for the age of the pup/expected adult weight. As heidi is a female i have best guessed she should be around 35kg once she is an adult and im using this as theammount i feed her. she gets 3 feeds per day and it is always all gone in a minute or two.

is there any way of accuratly estimating your dogs adult weight?

and ha anybody got any thoughts about this?

lol I am still confused on how much to feed, my dog should have between 200-400 per day I feed 300 trying to cut down his weight but it is so not working, so I am hoping you get a good answer to this question,

I was told by my vet to feed less than the stated amount on the food bags...they encourage you to overfeed. Therefore Diesel gets enough food for a 25Kg dog, even though he's 35.5Kg. This sounds a lot less and I was worried but his weight is fab so I'll just keep an eye on it and adjust it if I need to.
