Hi my name is Jo
I hope you don't mind asking you something,I pick Sheeba up this weekend and i have heard that if you cook fresh food for example chicken + rice + veg + gravy or Mince + Pasta + veg + gravy this is meant to better for dogs than dog food.I have bought some puppy pedigree chum cos this is what the breeder has been feeding her, do you know what would be best? If it is my above menus when would you say would be best to introduce this to Sheeba.Sheeba will be 8 weeks on Saturday. Thanks Jo

Hi Jo, Hang on in there I am sure some-one will answer your question very soon, bet you cannot wait to pick up your new puppy on Saturday, dont forget to post pictures of him/her,I wish I could answer your question but even tho I am on this site I do not know much about the gsd cos I own a staff myself, But I am sure that I have heard somewhere that they would never feed pedigree chum to a gsd, good luck

please please and please do not feed your dog pedigree chum, the latter is better, stay away from commercial dog food ie supermarket brands, lol for once I disagree with a breeder , but pedigree chum, is so not for the gsd dog, you will need to find a proper dog food and gently introduce it to the new puppy, yes that means graduating the pedigree chum down to a minimum, then to zero, but noooooooooo not pedigree chum

omg jo you are picking up this weekend, omg how fast did that go, wish you all the sleep less nights in the world,
