Wish George was a greedy eater, he is such a picky eater,

If you can feel, but not see, his ribs when you stroke his sides, then he's about right. Remember, the feeding guides are for 'the average' dog - who doesn't exist. Try increasing his food!

I really don't know how to advise on this one, it depends on what and when your feeding him, his weight and also his height. Feeding frequency depends on your puppy's age. 6 weeks-3 months - 4 meals a day; 3-6 months - 3-4 meals a day; 6 months-adulthood - 2-3 meals a day

Even though most breeds look fully-grown by around 6-8 months, they're still puppies on the inside. Their bones are becoming stronger and their bodies filling out. Only after 12 months (24 months for very large breeds) is your dog ready for adult food.

Dogs are the masters of looking like they're getting starved at each meal. Feed according to what you know is best for them, not what they think is best and I agree, a bit on the thin side is better than carrying even one extra unnecessary ounce. If you keep them a bit hungry at mealtimes then you won't be overfeeding during training time if you use food as your motivator/reinforcer. Also, don't allow them to eat from each other's bowls. Ensure both get exactly what they need, even if you have to separate them during feeding.

Red face ...

Ty sometime eats his own poo and is quite sneaky about it as he knows we don't approve, apparently if you put courgettes in their food then they don't do this as it makes it taste unpleasant to them but can't say i've tried and tested that with him as its an v occasional thing. He is quite mad though on eating horse manure, if its fresh, which is a nightmare if we're on a walk and he's off lead as i have to keep a close eye on him... Also it goes straight through him so he has lots and lots of poos himself later that day or the day after- lovely! Not really sure why he does it, as he seems well nourished and happy on James Wellbeloved diet. Enough about poo anyway as just had my dinner!
He is a real gannet with any food as well and is very food motivated which can be quite useful as he'll do anything for a treat and this really helped / helps when training him!! His favourite 'foods' I have probably mentioned before are carrots, chicken and ice-cubes (not together but am sure he wouldn't say no) ! He gets treats in moderation though and only healthy ones and he knows not to ever 'beg' for human food e.g. when we're eating so that's all fine. xx
