George is feed on JWB, I add warm water to it, most people I speak with say its normal for a GSD to be picky eaters give reggie his food and when he walks away after eating give him ten mins and pick up his feed bowl. George went through a picky phase a couple of months ago, i'm sure he was trying it on to see what else i'd give him. If you are worried you could mix in a handfull of minced beef into his food to tempt him to eat it all then phase the beef out over a couple of weeks. but you do run the risk of making them more choosy. Best advice is that if there is nothing else wrong with the dog, then he will eat when he's hungry. Just make sure reggie has plenty of water and they he'll be fine.

I think a lot of us have been through this fussy-eating stage at one time or another. They certainly do now how to get us running around after them worrying don't they?

Deez went through a fussy stage on JWB, he started to refuse to eat it and even when we only gave him a certain window of opportunity to eat it he still wasn't bothered. In the end we spoke to our vet, he checked him over and suggested a change in diet - maybe he just didn't like it anymore?! He now eats Arden Grange, with a bit of warm water and loves it.....

I have to say I was worried he would become a pciky eater if we changed his diet but it doesn't appear to be the case - thank god!
