6month old fussy eater

We have two 6 month old pups, Dino eats anything we give him and is fine. Holly has become a very fussy eater and nothing apart from a tin of pilchards seems to make her eat. She won't go near biscuits much unless they have the Pets at Home puppy bones scattered over the top! We have tried a few biscuits and canned dog food but nothing much helps. We don't want to feed raw as we have 6 dogs and all feed quite happily on biscuits and canned food/pilchards. Any ideas?

An obvious one, but have you tried putting gravy with it, or a mixture of mince and gravy. This may tempt her to eat the biscuits. I think the seperate feeding idea might be a good one to try as well. Barney won't eat his food if anyone else is in the kitchen. Also, I always feed Lucy in a seperate place.

....and be carefull that Holly doesnt condition you to giving her tin Pilchards at every meal,.. she will not eat the buscuits if she thinks she can hold out for the Pilchards, you will only fuel the `fussy eating`

I would suggest feeding the best quality kibble you can afford and feed this
Adding extras will create Fussy eating
She will not starve herself

Yes I agree with Janet & the gravy idea.

When Harvey was 6 month ish old he was a right fussy eater & the gravy idea worked a treat. You could also try some natural yogurt on the kibble too, ( just a tablespoon).

I must add that Harvey wasnt like this for long, it lasted a few months & did NOT make him a fussy eater, he loves his food now with agusto, LOL.

Would you like to eat the same old same old, day in day out ?

I feed Diesel and Oscar apart, simply because we noticed that Diesel seemed anxious, now they are fine. I would try warm water on the kibble, this enticed Diesel to eat as he was a very fussy boy.

i have finally got coco on the kibble by adding low salt gravy and mt juices i have also given her a small piece of grilled coley flaked up in it .

as i have said before she was weaned by the breeder on that cheap brawn rubbish which had no nutritional value what so ever so i have had to get her on something decent.
