From what age....

Sorry if this has already been posted before, I did use the search but couldn't find an answer. From what age can I give my puppy bones? Also what bones she can/cannot have. Also I have read that only say bones and never cooked bones. Is this correct? Thank you in advance

i have given coco little soft pork rib bones from 10 wks and she was fine with them.
i havent bought the pet shop bones as i thought they may be too rich at this age.
i will be getting her a raw bone from my local market this wk ,she is 13,5 weeks old now -just getting her
something nice and hard to help those teeth ,
she is not a greedy dog so i think she will have a lovely chomp on a bone.
i know coco loves those chewy shoes i wouldnt buy the pigs ears as they can be a bit rich for small bellies.

Thanks for the advice. My Jet is only coming up to 9 weeks so I will leave it a bit longer before giving her a bone

Please remember, never, ever give cooked bones,.. they can become brittle and splinter and damage or choke your dog.
Also never give large weight bearing bones as they can chip their teeth on them,..try chicken they are soft and supple

...but take advice from others about the age question,.. I have never owned a puppy so I cant be sure about when they can start with bones

Chicken bones are fine AS LONG AS THEY ARE RAW!! Ozzie I started giving Ozzie bones at about 5 months (he was a fussy kibble eater before that and I didn't know much about raw, so he never had bones), I started off with the small chicken wings, but held on to them to make sure he chewed before swallowing.
