the raw diets working a treat!

well i have to say i am really pleased with the raw diet i have put coco on she is finally eating twice a day and clearing her bowl i feed her 1 pd of raw in the morn and another for her t various meats tripe , lots of chicken and offcourse bones, she has 4 eggs a wk as well and fish too!
she was such a skinny minnie and i was real worried about her as she just wouldnt eat unless she was starving and believe me i tried all kibbles and wet food and cooked food ,this was the first dog id ever come across that didnt like my sunday dinner
in the last 3 wks i have seen her start looking more healthy her coat is lovely and she has filled out [not fat] just nice now .
she is 18 wks old is about the size of an adult lab in height and length and weighs 40 pd, her fur has decided to be long mum was short ,dad was long so we werent sure what she would be !
i did my research and worked out she needed 2.7 pd a day but 2pd is what she eats ,2.7 was too much and as she has green tripe about 4oz per dayi am quite sure she is getting enough protein and calories.
her fur is so soft she is like one of those new baby teddies to cuddle
my mum came over at the wkend she hadnt seen her for 2 wks and she commented on how much more healthy she looks just in that short space of time!
i know raw doesnt suit everyone but im just pleased ive managed to sort out my picky baby.

As you say, raw doesn't suit everybody, but it is your Coco.

Thats great, really pleased for you, I remember your problems of before.
Just watch the weight now, because the food is richer the portions may need to be smaller,...so just keep an eye on her, and adjust as you see fit,... either up or down, for instance she may need more in the winter, less in the summer

It's good to hear she's thriving on her new diet. Raw was the only thing that put muscle on Remus too and his fur's lovely.

Where are you getting your green tripe from? I'm trying to find a supplier.
