Where to buy...

Picked up Echo today, so exciting, shes being really good so far. She even took herself out of the back door and down to the dog run for a poop all by herself, she did try and eat it though lol, got there just in time

Hmm back to my question before I gush any further..

She is currently being fed Arden Grange (puppy junior/large breed) and Nature diet puppy junior. I see no reason to change these foods as she wolfs it down but where is the best place to buy. I buy most things online as I am not a shopping fan lol, I found these on a quick browse.....

Naturediet

Anyone know anything about them? Prices seem ok or does anyone else no somewhere better/cheaper

Congratualtions on your new arrival you must be so proud of Echo.

Arden Grange is a fab food, my twins Harvey & Heidi were weaned on it & Harvey still has it. Heidi suffers with horrendous allergies so she is on a different food which has an alternate protein source to what Arden Grange has to offer. My other boy Bo is also on Arden Grange Puppy large breed & hes loves it too.

What does concern me a tad is that you mention that you are feeding Arden Grange plus Natures menu, why feed the two ?

Arden grange is a good food but IMO Nature diet is not as good as natures menu
Echo is gorgeous by the way
Look forward to watching her grow

3 of the 4 meals are meat and then the evening meal is just the biscuit

Im no expert but thats the instructions that came with the puppy pack and they are the 2 foods that were also supplied

Why shouldnt she have both

The breeder said she prefers a meat diet, not sure why but she includes the biscuits as they keep the teeth clean

Have just come across this website

Arden Grange

Don't know how much it is generally though.

They sell JWB £12 cheaper than PAH and it's free delivery.

They digest at different times meat is usually 4 hours and kibble 16 hrs
It could upset her tummy

My advice to you is if she is eating this ok and her motions are fine keep to the diet the breeder has be feeding her. I would'nt be changing and messing around with her food not when she is adjusting to her new home and surroundings.

I would agree totally.

If it ain't broke then don't fix it

I am sure the breeder knows what they are doing and they know what suits their dogs, I would stick to what they told you.

If you start chopping and changing her food now she may become confused and not eat properly.

First day of course but she loves her food far more food oriented than our last gsd and she is having regular and normal motions 3 times today in fact
