Eggs?!

I have noticed that a lot of you on here feed your dogs raw eggs.

This is something I have never done. Can you tell me the benefits and if it ok to feed them if you feed kibble and cooked meat?

Thanks

Caryll is a jewel in the rough
Raw eggs are fine - good for the coat & probably loads of other things as well - as long as you don't give too many as they can inhibit the absorption of some vitamins & minerals.

maxandskye has a spectacular aura about
Becarefull not to give them too many, a couple a week is plenty.

They also contain a bad enzyme which can lead to skin & hair problems.

There is also the worry of salmonella too !

The shell is calcium which promotes healthy bones & inside is protein.

Hope this helps.

Interesting, I'd never thought to give them raw eggs. Murphy gets a lot of sebaceous cysts, does anyone know if eggs would help his skin?
