Sheeba Nose Update

Sheebas update on her nose.

Over the weekend i had been putting Fuciderm gel on her nose prescibed by the vet (Steroid Gel) and on sunday her nose had stopped weeping and went dry and crusty. Also gave her antibiotics.Looked so much better.
So today i took her down to vets for her biopsy and i am very pleased to say she didn't need it,because Max explained that it hadn't infected the fatty tissue deep down. we caught it in time. He has not had the results from the swab yet but this shoud reveal what caused this. He has also given us another months supply of antibiotics beacuse even though it looks a lot better he still maintains it will take a long time to heal.I have posted more pics for you all to see incase this ever happens to your dogs so you will know what to expect.i also asked Max a lot of questions here they are:
Is it contagious = No
Can it spread to other areas = yes
can it re-occur = yes
Can humans catch it = No
Is this a form of Nasal Pyoderma = yes
Hope this helps .

It looks less sore than it did in the first photos. Well done for acting fast, probably saved a lot of pain for her and will help speed up the recovery time too.
