Clicky Hips

Ive noticed some times when Max gets up his hips click, he doesnt appear to be in pain and were building up his fitness as he wasnt walked for 8 months before he came into the rescue then us. The vet was more than happy with him and said that give it 6 months and his muscle should be much improved. Its estimated that he is between 5-7yrs old, so any advice on supplements or anything I can give him to help aid his joints? He has cod liver oil with his feed and I have also been giving him raw chicken feet a few times a week with his feed.

Many thanks

Hiya,

The following are all good for joints:

•Chondroitin
•Collagen
•Curcumin
•Glucosamine
•Glutamine
•MSM
•Oatinol™
•Vitamin C

I buy Zak joint aid, it contains them all.

Dogs Arthritis | Dog Medication & Treatment | Canine Arthritis Symptoms

He has 2 spoons sprinkled on 1 meal once a day, 1 pack lasts 1 month.

Glucosamine needs to be HCL or KCI not sulphate
I use Seraquin, Cosequin and Synoquin both work well but more expensive
my dog has ED and a titanium plate in his stifle, I have tried other products and they dont work for him
