How long ago was her season?
It sounds like a false pregnancy and she is producing milk for the imaginary puppies.
Is she carrying any toys around or nesting?
Don't worry about it - it's perfectly normal. As I have just said in another thread, my BSD used to go in the back of the under stairs cupboard and would not allow my other dogs in there as she had pups in there!!! Not!!
In a couple of weeks she will be back to normal.

Yes, sounds more like a phantom, especially if her season was in the last couple of months.
If you're really worried, though, a vet will put your mind at rest (and charge you for the privelege!)

Signs of false pregnancy:
"In the dog, the main signs are seen around six to nine weeks after oestrus, ie the time the bitch would give birth, had she been mated successfully. Any or all of the following signs are seen: enlargement of the mammary glands, with or without milk production; inappetance;lethargy;"nest building" behaviour; gathering toys/objects into the nest and attempting to feed them. It usually becomes obvious that the bitch isn't pregnant and is suffering from false pregnancy, however in some cases, where there is a possibility of mating having occurred, care must be taken before treating the bitch to ensure she isn't actually pregnant."
She may get a bit aggressive with other dogs as well - especially if they try and sniff round her 'nest'. It was the only time my BSD ever went for my two GSD's - the looks on their faces was a picture!!!

AAAGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHH
her first season was about 4 months ago, she is NOT doing anything like that she is her normal self just with boobie goo!!
AS FOR THE VET................ my collie was 7 years old (still a pup in her head and for a collie) and we thought she had been caught by the dog nextdoor (he use to jump over the fence) so i took her to the vet as i found she had milk coming out of her boobiesand she had put alot of weight on and the vet felt her (her back legs not tum) and said she wasnt pregnant and gave her tablets to stop the milk, said she was fine nothing wrong with her and 4 days later she died!!! so as you can imagen i dont really trust or like vets!! im not with the same vet now and my new vet is fab but i still have that feeling!! and im just freaking out, my poor little collie Zen was only 7 collies only start to become adults when they reach 7 so she was still a baby and the vet did nothing and now she is dead IM NOT GOING THROUGH IT AGAIN!!! Cara is just over 1 year old, she is a baby, nothing is diffrent in/with her, EXCEPT BOOBIE MILK!!
OH MY GOD MY HEART CANT TAKE THIS!! (i have a heart murmer and get palpitations so not really too good for me!! lol)
sorry for going on and on and on but im really freaking out and everything is coming back (feeling ect) and now i cant breath again!!!
SORRY SAM

I know this'll sound like a silly question, but are you sure that her season was as long ago as 4 months? Could it have been about 9 weeks?

Just looked through your old posts and you posted this on 27th April:
"how long after a bitch has stopped bleeding (as in a season) can i mix them again??
Cara stopped bleeding on tuesday and i just wanted to know how long i still need to leave it till she can see her Tyson again"
So that is approx 10/11(?) weeks ago, given that bitches cannot exactly count the same as us I think it is pretty safe to say that she is probably experiencing a false pregnancy and producing milk.
False pregnancies vary tremendously from bitch to bitch and she may not show any other symptoms.
Don't forget that if she is licking the discharge or if you are constantly checking the teats that will be stimulating the milk production more.
If you have any serious doubts then I would pop her into the vets and let them take a look at her, just to put your mind at rest.

That sounds quite feasible. Take it that her season ended about a week after that post & hey presto, you have a phantom!
If it's really bothering her, your vet can give you something to dry up the milk, but he'll need to see her to make sure that's what it is.

Ohhh bless her, the MIL just went through this, both her staffies just had phamtoms, don't panic it is perfectly normal, however, once they have had one phamtom I believe they are prone to them in the future xx
