Disorders associated with conformation
THERE APPEARS TO BE A LOT OF RUMOURS PUT ABOUT BY BYBs TO DISCREDIT THE GERMAN SHOW LINES;
the definition of the title = These disorders are directly related to the conformation or standards for the breed. Although these conditions have in many cases become so common that they are accepted as normal for the breed, they can still cause serious physical problems and discomfort for the dog. One component of responsible breeding is to breed away from the extremes of conformation that cause these physical problems.
According to the CIDD there are no such disorders in the German Shepherd Dog
The sloping topline and steepness of the croup bear no correlation to hip dysplasia and no evidence to the contrary despite what rubbish these 'breeders' of other types say.
