I had the pleasure today and removed my first tick also! Never thought I could do the creepy crawlie thing but the thought of that on my boy Had to get it quick lol
I used tweezers as could not find the tick remover and turning anticlockwise removed it! BUT It looked as though it was minus it's head so off to the vet we went and YEY I did it right! Got my frontline combo as I had just ran out and a tick remover just in case Ewwwwwww! He was due his booster so that's done too ! Quite a disgusting job but Storm loved his all over massage as I searched him all over for any more lol. OH his was just above his eye also and very swollen, tick was very small so not there long I THINK!
