Unhappy He is allergic to all meat!! Wot now?

In continuation to jensons itching and insurance company being annoying we decided to do blood tests to see wot he is allergic to.
Well it came back and said he scored a 3 on every meat! He can have fish, duck, rice and potatoes. He can't even have cows milk!

We have found a complete dry food he can have. Jwb duck and rice or barking heads salmon and potato.
But what treats can he have?

I can't believe he can't have meat!
Does anyone know what mark these tests go up to? 5 or 10? He scored 3 on everyone.

Thanx for all advice SONYA x

Every meat seems a bit `strange`,... does that include chicken [ if he can have duck],...I would have though one of the meats would have been ok,.... though personaly I wouldnt worry too much,.. fish is one of the best foods you can feed a dog on,.. they give almost all fish to the dogs that run the iditarod,..so that gives you some idea about its value

Cows milk is very bad for dogs anyway,.. that has always been a no- no

Hi Sonya
I know what it is like sounds similiar to my Alfe when he was alive but he couldnt have fish I fed skinners duck/rice and bought most of his treats from here Vegetarian Pet Food - Vegetarian and Vegan Dog and Cat Food
I will also look for the Duck treats, not sure about the test results as my dog had skin biopsies taken not blood tests

Wow, what a bummer! Still, as Stuart says, fish is a great food for dogs, so it isn't too bad. There are vegetarian pet treats/foods around & they might be worth a look see.

Fish4Dogs do all kinds of fish only treats and foods. Buy online they do a great service. Can sometimes get some at the larger pet stores but much cheaper to buy in bulk

Thankyou everyone x I'm gonna check out all those websites. I'm happier now knowing he will be ok on fish. I was worrying a little.
I know it's silly but isn't most cheeses made with cows milk?
He can't have beef pork lamb chicken turkey whole egg soybean corn and cows milk!
