natural remedies

Hi all, well after zeus being on 3 lots of anti biotics for an upper respiratory infection followed by a dose of kennel cough followed by a dodgy stomach i decided that i wasnt running off to the verts at every opportunity as all they do is prescribe a broad spectrum anti-biotic and hope for the best. I have been thoroughly researching natural remedies and have come up with this extensive list, if it helps only one bubba then my job is done!! ...........

Garlic seems to be worth it's weight in gold.

I buy frozen fenugreek and they have that and garlic powder once a week

Thanks for that Mine have keepers mix which has kelp in it also. Remus has evening primrose oil (itchy skin). Both have garlic in their liver cake treats.

Garlic, despite being very good for many things, shouldn't be given too frequently so I've heard? One capsule a week for a dog is the dose I seem to remember reading... perhaps someone can confirm if that's correct?

Anni From what I know
Garlic is from the onion family and Onions are toxic to dogs and never should be given in any form
Garlic powder is safe im sure
I give mine some in their treats weekly
I never give raw garlic though
