Teething question

Hi there

Sam is 20 weeks on Saturday and has been teething for a couple of weeks.

His top baby teeth fell out and he has lovely shiny big teeth growing, but on his lower jaw his second teeth have erupted behind his baby teeth... He looks like a shark also no signs of any new canines. I have tried to wiggle the baby teeth in his lower jaw and they are very firm...no sign of dropping out. Is this normal? will his second teeth move forward so to speak or will I need to take him to the vets?

Thanks

Sally

Otto had adult teeth coming through behind his baby teeth in his bottom jaw too. They did come out in the end & they look perfectly fine & normal now

Thank you !!! so all is normal then

I have to say he is definately going through an ugly duckling phase teeth all over the place, a shiny black stripe down his back, fluffy puppy fur on his sides, and ears that pick up sky TV

Yes all perfectly normal. I remember that stage with the fluffy side fur. Ted looked like he was wearing a frilly dress!
