Vegitarian! Does he need vitamins or supplements?

Hi everyone. I found out via blood tests that my 2 year old boy has allergies to all meets except duck and fish! For the last 6 weeks he has been on barking heads, duck and potato complete food.

My question is do you think he needs any extra vitamins or dietary supplements?

He seems to have lost a little weight(I'm gonna get him weighed at end of week). I feel bad that I can't give him meat! Poor baby.
We will try to introduce some meat (maybe chicken) in about a month. We are awaiting results of more blood tests to hope fully tell us why he is still scratching!

Thanks Sonya x

Sonya dont add any meat unless it is Duck, he is likely still itching due to dust mites
If he is on a complete food he doesnt need any extra vitamins, if you want to give him any treats give him vegetarian ones - when Alfe was alive he couldnt even eat fish - he just ate Skinners Duck/Rice complete with veggies treats, the exception was if i was cooking a duck for myself then I would give him a bit.
Have a look here for treats:
Vegetarian and Vegan Dog Chews

Otto 's Mutter has a spectacular aura about
We are trying this with Otto at the moment (thanks Pam )

Otto is on Skinners Duck & Rice and at the moment is only having veggie and duck treats. I thought it was going to be hard work and I would have to order loads of different things on line but there are some many things at PAH that he can have They have duck fillets, duck & rice biscuits, vegetable chews........

Pam, our trainer recommended that I use advocate rather than fiprospot as it covers mites from the foxes we have near us. What do you think????

I use to use all the time when Alf was alive, although you need a script for it unless you buy from Oz

Thank you. We had duck the other week and I gave him some. He loved bless him. He only has vegetarian treats or fish for dogs treats.
We found alot of the treats from pah said they are duck treats but the ingredients said contains meat and animal derivatives. We haven't given them to him.
It's nice to know we are not the only ones having to worry about meat x
