waxy ears

sams ears rather waxy.. is this normal and am i doing right by using damp cottom wool to clean them gently..

Jax are the same... although its mixed with mud too the dirty little so and so... fairly normal no??

You could try also using baby wipes - I use the sensitive ones!

Or u can get ear wipes from pet shops, wrap it round your finger and ONLY WIPE WHAT YOU CAN SEE, dont prod down the ear, they have special ear cleaner on them that helps break down the wax as well

Yes no harm in cleaning them up, but If the wax is been produced regulary and is dark brown it is most likely ear mites or an infection and not muck, also if there is an odour or irritation, google it loads of info out there
I would get some ear drops, from a pet store for about £3 or vets if it continues.
