Scratched nose

Hi all!
I appologise if a similar topic has been posted before. However,I am very new to this forum!
I'd like to quiz your knoledge of nose scratches.. My 8 week old pup looks like he has been in the wars with some of his nose leather having been scratched off
You've guessed the obvious question no doubt! Will it grow back/scar/re-gain its pigment and should I be using anything to put on it?

Generally speaking I would think it'll grow back to normal. Deeper scratches might scar, but the colour should close over the damaged tissue.

Yes keep it clean and yes it will go back to black
one of mine was bitten with deep gashes down his nose at 10mth the month after you wouldnt have known

Thank you so much for your help, both of you! I feel better now, thankfully. Just hope he doesn't get himself any more. Although, admittedly, it was one of my nails that accidentally scratched him in the first instance and I have now cut my nails short!
