Pads bleed A LOT when they're cut, just clean it + keep an eye on it for infection. It'll look worse than it is, if it's still bleeding in the morning it might need a stitch.
Don't worry, it will bleed a lot, but she won't bleed to death
Let us know how it is in the morning xxx

No hun, no walk tonight, besides a walk making it bleed more, you need to keep it clean
Salt water is good but don't overdo it. If the bleeding stops I wouldn't bandage it x

poor girl. joe cut his pad deep last year. i took him to the vets and they cleaned it up and bandaged it with so much padding he looked like he had a club foot.. very sore place to cut.. i had to leave it for 5 days before it was changed so the pad healed together again.. just pad it well and put plastic over the top so it doesnt get too soggy..

Depends on how bad the cut is, I wouldn't take her tonight firstly because you want it to settle down + stop bleeding, + secondly it'll be bluddi sore + she'll be limping
See how she is in the morning, if it's not a bad cut then she can go for a walk, if it is bad then you need to go to vet + have it looked at
My dog had a lump removed from his foot a few months ago, vets aren't keen to keep feet bandaged now because it cultures infection, that's why I wouldn't bandage it tonight. You need air to get to it, + just keep occasionally bathing it xx

Rory cut his paw a few years back, lots of blood but not that bad really, anyway, I took him to the vets, told them he was insured and watched the £ signs appear in his eyes....
Bandage change every day, it just kept falling off anyway...£472
It only really started healing when I insisted I wanted the bandage leaving off.
keep it clean, have a good look there is no foreign body in the wound and determine it is small enough not to need stitches.
put a sock and pastic back over it when he is out and go gentle on the exercise, it should start to granulate in a few days

Don't panic!
Jerry lee did the same a couple of days ago (he does it all the time, clumsy bugger) just make sure its kept clean and will heal up fine. Maybe go for a short walk tomorrow morning on soft ground/grass and see how it looks. It may bleed a little but just give it a flush out with salt water again if it does look a bit sore but with mine I let the air get to it to dry it out and they are pretty good at keeping them clean themselves.

Froo had a bad cut earlier this year and was off walks for a week until it healed. I don't take them to the vets for cut paws as I don't like my lot getting put out for a stitch and in many cases now they just superglue it, keep it clean and dry and light exercise. I'd use a buster collar to keep her from licking it. Spray plaster from asda or tesco is great for cut paws it is antiseptic and gives a breathable skin over the cut, I've always got it around. Also the Lund shops have lots of good first aid stuff like selfadesive bandages and dressing that are handy.
