Male or Female?..... female is easier, as soon as the dog squats down you can move in from behind with something like an ice cream carton,..wide and not very deep
A male dog is more arkward,... its really trail and error,.. ut you need something that is as wide as you can get, even something like an old washing up bowl,.. keep him on a short lead, when he starts, move in quickly, and you should at least get some
its not always easy, thats for sure.....lol

If your dog will use concrete or stones then you can syringe some up and put in a container - wouldn't be quite as clean, suppose it depends what they are testing for (you can get a large syringe minus needles from vets)

I had to get a few urine samples from Del and found the easiest thing was to use a saucepan with a long handle

I used a large tub to get Diesel's sample, although it took a while cos he wondered what the hell I was doing lingering around him whilst he peed...
