I thought this was the way it would go,.. very pleased that he is on the up,.... give him everything in smal quanties today, let his guy settle down, I am glad the ice cubes worked, sometimes dogs cant keep water down because it is too much too fast,..useing ice cubs allows the gut to adjust to a little water at a time

He will be fine, sorry you had a bad night

LucyA is on a distinguished road
Thanks Stuart. Haven't given him anything to eat today and won't yet, he is a bit quiet and tired but seems much better. It's not unusual for him to be like this. After a late night on new years eve he couldn't be bothered to look at us much less eat, drink or move. He needs his sleep bless him.
He hasn't drank much water but is still taking the odd ice cube so I won't take him out again today and just keep a good eye on him, we are still sick free so we are definitely on the mend xx
