Poorly Bear

Blitz isn't very well

He was sick this morning in the garden and has been really off colour since then.
He was his usual self when we got up, jumping and messing around then was sick and since then has been really depressed.
He just threw up again, fortunately on the tile floor so I was able to get a good look at it when cleaning up.
It had the consistancy of raw egg whites, really sticky, was clear in colour and had no noticeable odour.
He hasn't eaten anything odd but we did take him swimming yesterday and the lake was dirty, this was at around lunch time so quite a long time a go.
I also bathed him yesterday but it was more of an outside sponge down with lukewarm water.
At the moment I see no reason to rush him to the vets but any advice welcome.
If he is the same tomorrow or worse tonight I'll take him.
I haven't noticed him eating or drinking today but thats not unusual and I was upstairs a lot of the morning doing bits and bobs. Thank god I'm off and here if he needs me.
Poor baby xx

Snap...Shey has been sick this morning on two occasions....it was like white foamy water,he seems fine now and is jumping around with the girls but he did have a sulky hour afterwards. He always looks at me like i am going to tell him off when he is sick because when he starts to wretch i shout "out" at him to get him outside.
I hope your dog feels better soon, i am sure its just a bit of an off day.

It could be the lake water....I'd keep an eye on him and make sure he drinks but I'm sure he'll be back to normal by tomorrow...x

Thanks all, he can't be really bad as I just let the cat in, he suddenly perked up and wanted to play with her, now she's hiding behind the curtains and I can't be sure if he is sulking because he can't get to her or moping because he is ill.
Lol. Silly boy.
I'm wondering whether to give him a few ice cubes as its a sure way to get water down him and will sooth his throat if its sore from being sick.
We already have to take both cats to the vets tomorrow as they are due jabs, we'll be a real sight if we have to manage two cat boxes and a GSD into there lol.
xx

Bless him, amazing that the appearance of the cat perked him up

It wouldn't hurt to give him some ice cubes but these things usually pass quite quickly don't they....

Oh what a great image of you 2, 2 cats and a GSD....

Lol Lynn, he loves Tinky, it doesn't matter how many times she wacks him over the nose he just doesn't seem to get the hint, he gets so excited to see her just so she can shun him lol.
