Dry Coat

Hi, some advice please.

Cognac's coat is looking a bit on the dry side, someone suggested giving hima raw egg with his breakfast everyday (he eats Arden Grange kibble). Does this work, or has anyone got a better solution. I assume feeding them on a dry diet has this effect???

You could also try giving him some oily fish in his kibble, but you would have to alter the amount of kibble so you dont over feed, try Mackrel, kippers or something like that 2-3 times a week.
I feed Dalton on burns, but he has fish a few times aweek and his coat is shiny although he is moulting big style at the moment.
Someone told me to give them Salmon oil too, but dont know much about it

I add a tin of Mackerel, Sardines or Tuna to Jenson's evening meal at night. His coat is lovely and shiny. Which Arden Grange is it you are using?

One of my cats has very dry skin and the vet suggested tinned sardines/mackerel in oil once a week and it works a treat. Sally also gets sardines 2x a week and its great for her skin.

Hi there.

You could try a table spoon of Extra Virgin Olive Oil daily in the kibble, or UDOS Oil is also really good, I have just started giving it to my 2, it contains omega 3, 6, & 9.
