Phew!

Well, Bella appeared at death's door this morning so I brought her to the vet, where she immediately perked up and made a fool of me! "Honestly, she's been really ill . . . !"

As it turns out, she has given herself an infection in her throat from licking round her vulva so much (transferring germs, I guess) so an injection and a course of oral antibiotics should sort it out. And that must have been a magic shot because she actually wants to play this evening!

So all's well that ends well . . . !
