gencon + muzzle, does it work?

Hello everyone and Happy New Year , haven't been on for while, dog has been keeping us busy! had to cordone off all my spring planting today as the monkey dug up a wisteria tree! aghhh
anyway my question
have the gencon and love it, reuben hates it, poor fella, but he does enjoy his walks once hes out and going , but try getting it on - lots of treats!
its good for me as he pulled on the collar and lead like mad and my arm was stretched.
I do the heel command with him on the gencon, as it would be nice to eventually use a regualr lead , lose, and that he would just heel ( am I dreaming?!!!)

but he is 6mths now and by law in Ireland he is meant to wear a muzzle in public
will the baskerville type work with the gencon under it ?

and if you dont use either , what do you use?
TIA

Beki is a jewel in the rough
we use a baskerville and a GL and tuck it between the muzzle and the strap to the side.

We have a fake gencon and have used it with the muzzle a couple of times but doesnt seem to fit as well we put the gencon on then the muzzle its ok but she found that more uncomfortable than the GL
