"On the nose"

Just wondering if anyone else has this command/a command like it?

When I want Archie to put his head through something, I give him the command "On the nose."

I use it when I want him to stick his head through:
- his chest harness for car rides
- his check collar
- his carting harness
- his Halti
- his muzzle

I taught it to him ages and ages ago with a couple of treats and a GL, and we use it so often and he's usually so good about it. And then sometimes I read that people have to use treats and all sorts of things to get these things on the dog, and I'm surprised.

Of course, sometimes he's a monkey and dances away when I come up to him and give him the command "On the nose," but usually he just sticks his head in.

It is a good way of doing it, Ozzie doesn't really have to put his head through anything so I have never really thought of it. I have taught him to touch, so he uses his nose to target something, I suppose that is similar. He also knows go through, when we use the tunnel in training (building up to agility!!! Yay!) which I also use to get him to move through small spaces!

Archie knows "between" to walk between my legs. That one's always fun.

Archie's tunnel command is literally, "tunnel."
