Sorry, can't help you. I have used the gencon all-in-one for Ozzie, but that is one size fits all job!! Hope you get a helpful answer soon!

Hi,

I too am looking at getting one of these after reading numerous threads on here, they sound amazing.

Found this URL where you can just order via a website rather than having to send off a cheque.

Gencon headcollar - Pets Perfect

I too am not sure on which size though !

If I remember rightly there are instructions for measuring for the correct size on the website - I might be wrong though! I got a large size for Kira and I would think that the next size up would be absolutely huge - think St Bernard, Great Dane. Mastiff etc.

I knew I had seen it somewhere, but not actually on the Gencon website. Below is copied:

To find out the right size: Place a piece of tape on your dogs nose, take it round the muzzle, cross it under the chin, then take it round the back of the head (all in one piece) add approximately 3 inches to allow for ease of taking off and putting on .
The LARGE size is 35inches 89cm Also available in other sizes -

I did away with the dogmatic as I didnt like it,..although I still have it somewhere,..I went for the gencon all in one so that I didnt have to measure up,..and it comes with the head att/lead combined

No dogs like this sort of collar, but they soon get used to them,...I, and the dogs have had less problems with the gencon than other simular types

So sorry April, I cant help you with the measuring,.. maybe phone/contact the Gencon site and ask for advice

Gencon

Have been using the all in one gencon for 2 weeks now. Duke hates the bit round his nose and is still trying to pull it off. He doesn't realise that if he doesn't pull the device will be nice and loose!!! It is good. Like a figure of 8, one bit acts like a slip lead up behind the ears and the other round the nose. He still goes in front, but as he's 6 stone and i'm only 8 I cannot cope with his strength when he wants to go after something. It is the most comfortable thing we have used, and trust me we have every collar/harness known to man!!!!The lady at Gencon is very helpful, and just told me to specify that Duke was long coated to so they could allow a bit extra. The only drawback I have found is that when it is all slack it does drop off the nose. However, you can use a halti link to attach to the collar. Hope that helps.

Sue.
